Evan Dando Tour Dates

16 May 2017: Scala, London UK
17 May 2017: Slade, Wolverhampton, UK
18 May 2017: St Luke’s Glasgow, Scotland
19 May 2017: Gorilla, Manchester, UK
21 May 2017: Underground, Cologne, Germany
22 May 2017: Musik & Frieden, Berlin, Germany

"Dando has a flair for bruised melancholy that stands comparison with Gram Parsons and Alex Chilton" Q Magazine

“A beautiful album of tender reflections on life, love and drug-induced folly set in soulful, country-tinged guitar pop.” The Independent

In support of the upcoming deluxe reissue of 'Baby I'm Bored' on Fire Records, Evan Dando will be heading to Europe for a number of live dates.

Mature and autobiographical,‘Baby I’m Bored’ is a stellar record that stripped Dando of his grunge label. At the time of recording, he was without the band which saw him lean more towards an achingly melodic alt-country rock sound. Self-deprecating, these are songs of decline and coming back from that.

This limited edition special LP and CD ‘bookback’ reissue includes a disc of unheard unreleased tracks, singles, b-sides and rarities.

More live dates to be announced.
Track list of extras

Well atleast when he plays solo he plays like 30+ songs. That's always sick.

When did the last Lemonheads CD come out... 06 or 08? The one he did with Bill and Karl.

Track for track it was amazing. Do it again, Ev. :)

Whilst new Evan shows are always welcome what happened to Newcastle being his only UK show this year? Cost me a small fortune going up there for the weekend! :)

I'll be going to Wolverhampton, it'll be nice if he plays Baby I'm Bored in its entirety.

The Lemonheads came out in 2006, Varshons was 2009.

Long overdue a new album!

2006? Dear god. Seems like just yesterday.

But yeah I wouldn't mind a new album. Not only for the tunes but to revive this board. :guitar:

I'm halfway between Wolverhampton and Manchester and don't know either venue - anyone able to identify a preference for one or the other?

Gorilla is a really nice small venue- good sound, good views (including a tiny balcony at the back) - terrible smelling toilets when I was there a fortnight ago though

My only problem is I'm back from my stag do that day- 2 nights in athens to see depeche mode- will I still be physically able to go to see Evan that night?

I ordered my tickets for the Slade Rooms gig last night. Already a bit excited about it.

Whoops, I managed to sign in with the wrong details there. A bit odd.

I have my tickets for the London date, really looking forward to seeing Evan again. 2006 was the last time I saw them when the self titled album came out, it's been soooo long.

Please note the announcement Roo's posted here about the tour opener in London tonight.

The venue have just tweeted: "Unfortunate news about tonight's show. Please hold onto your tickets as they will be valid for the new date (to be announced)"
